Journal notes

Every author dreams of receiving emails from publishers ASKING them to write a book for them. In November 2015, I had that letter.

Dorling Kindersley had noticed I had written several volcano books and wondered if I had time to write one for them. I wrote the book over the Christmas school holidays.

You would think after writing four volcano books I would find it boring writing another. Not so. I learnt about volcanoes in Africa, South America, Europe, underwater and even in Outer Space.

Stunning photographs – over 200 images and diagrams decorate the book. A great book for kids or adults who love volcanoes or just absorbing interesting information.
